The client –

Our client is a Top 10 accountancy firm based in Cork. Their clients range from small businesses to large entities with circa €300 million T/O.  These include privately owned businesses and subsidiaries of international groups.


Staff are recruited both for their ability and attitude, ensuring a high-quality professional service in line with the firm’s ethos.

Role responsibilities –
Reporting directly to the firm’s Partners, the successful candidate will be tasked with –

• Planning, control and completion of audit assignments for a varied range of clients.
• Prepare the key deliverables of an audit including statutory financial statements and management reports.
• Communicate with and manage client expectations.
• Supervision of junior audit staff including staff appraisal.
• Working on ad-hoc assignments from time to time in conjunction with the partners.

About you –

• You will be ACA/ ACCA Qualified (strong Semi Seniors will also be considered)
• Have strong attention to detail, strong technical knowledge and an awareness of current issues.
• Take responsibility for the delivery of high-quality audit files.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
