Our client, a reputable firm in Dublin is seeking a Tax Manager to join its corporate tax group. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional tax advisory services to the firm's extensive Film and Television client-base. With major Hollywood Film Studios, leading independent film production companies, and some of the largest Television Production companies in both the UK and the USA as clients, the Tax Manager will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality services and help the firm capitalize on new opportunities.

What's On Offer —
  • A 35-hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am-4pm
  • Agile working policy giving you the option to work from home for up to 3 days per week
  • 25 days annual leave. This increases in line with length of service. On 1 January, after 5 years’ service, the entitlement will be increased by 7 hours (as long as you have been a manager for 5 years)
  • In addition, employees are entitled to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday a year
  • Contributory pension scheme (The firm will contribute 5% of salary on a matched basis with employee from their date of joining)
  • Life assurance cover of 4 x annual salary
  • Working from home allowance of €27 a month
  • Eligibility for the firm’s Profit-Sharing Plan that runs from October to September each year. The scheme enables staff to share in the profits of the firm. Payment is usually c€1,000. Paid in December
  • Employee referral scheme. Assistant Manager level and below, including support staff, will attract a referral reward of €5,000, Manager level or above, will attract a referral reward of €10,000
  • New client referral scheme. Members of staff introducing a new client to the firm have the potential to receive a referral payment of up to 10% of the first year’s total fees
  • Eligibility for the discretionary bonus scheme. This is based on both individual performance and firm performance
  • Private Medical – entitled to join on successful completion of probationary period
  • Paid travel expenses when working at offices other than your contracted office
  • A commitment to ED&I with the opportunity to join various people network groups and be part of the growing ED&I network.
Main Responsibilities —
  • Review and submit Film, Television and Video Game Tax Credit Claims
  • Advise clients on the conditions for qualifying for Film & Television and Video Game Tax Credit Claims
  • Advise on Production Structures and review structure documentation to ensure compliance
  • Manage the corporation tax affairs of other companies and groups within the film sector and their growing numbers of clients that are non-Film/TV related
  • Deliver high-quality tax advisory services to clients on a wide range of issues across all tax heads to a wide cross section of sectors in Ireland and across their global Nexia network
About you —
  • At least degree-level education
  • Relevant professional qualification (ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA)
  • Previous experience at Manager level in a tax role, preferably in a Top 20 firm
  • Experience of working with clients in the Creative Sector would be an advantage, though not essential
