Client Accountant | Qualified/Part-Qualified | Dublin

Our client, a multinational professional services firm, is seeking a Client Accountant to join their team. The company provides expert services to businesses around the world, with over 9,000 experts across 85 jurisdictions. They serve a diverse range of clients, including more than 60% of companies listed on the Fortune Global 500 and FTSE 100.

As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting more complex tasks in daily bookkeeping procedures, preparing financial statements and filings, and answering basic client queries. You will also review drafts prepared by Junior Accountants and suggest amendments as required.

Main Responsibilities —

• Ensure timely and accurate accounting records
• Prepare primary accounting documents, statements, and reports
• Meet allocated client deadlines
• Prepare compliance-related filings
• Execute primary documents in accordance with accounting standards
• Review accounting entries processed by Junior Accountants
• Assist in maintenance of chart of accounts and accounting application configurations
• Keep up-to-date with local accounting and tax legislation

About you —

• Degree in Accountancy or business-related disciplines
• Previous experience in a similar role or Part-Qualified
• Resourceful and independent problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and communication skills
• Analytical, structured mindset
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word, experience with local accounting systems desirable
