The Role —

As a Senior Manager or Manager in the Investment Management Audit & Assurance practice, you will be responsible for overseeing valuable client engagements and assisting in the resolution of accounting, auditing, and other issues that may emerge during the audit process. 

As a field leader, you will be in charge of tracking and overseeing client services, including developing audit strategies and budgets. Someone with your skills and experience will also be expected to supervise, develop, and inspire employees, including coaching and career advice.

Main Responsibilities —

  • Efficiently manage and oversee service delivery, consistently surpassing client quality expectations.
  • Foster and cultivate positive collaborative relationships with teams and clients, aiming to surpass client anticipations.
  • Devise a strategic plan for personal growth concerning a designated portfolio of key clients and new business prospects, alongside networking affiliations.
  • Arrange audit schedules, allocate staff, and manage work distribution.
  • Supervise, cultivate, and motivate personnel, encompassing coaching and guidance for career advancement.
  • Identify and spearhead the integration of global resources, such as delivery centers, to enhance execution efficiency.
  • Vigilantly monitor and steer engagement economics, ensuring proper revenue recognition throughout the engagement.
  • Provide expert consultation and guidance to clients on matters related to technical accounting, auditing, and internal control.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to facilitate forward-thinking and innovative solutions.

About you —

  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
  • Significant expertise in leading audits within the Investment Management/Insurance sector
  • Proficient in working with IFRS, UK, US GAAP, or equivalent reporting standards
  • Skillful presentation of client data in a precise and comprehensible manner
  • Demonstrated capacity to foster productive client relationships, particularly in establishing rapport, trust, and assurance with stakeholders
  • Adept in project management
  • Proven leadership acumen showcasing sound judgment, adept problem-solving, and effective decision-making, capable of directing and motivating teams spanning all hierarchical levels
  • Track record of functioning adeptly within a fast-paced team-oriented setting
  • Proficiency in autonomously managing multiple assignments or engagements
