Employment Tax & Global Mobility Services – Assistant Manager | Top 10 Firm | Dublin

The Role –

They are seeking to recruit skilled professionals for the positions of Assistant Manager within their Tax Advisory Services division, specifically in their Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services (ET & GMS) team.

The ET & GMS team provides comprehensive advisory services to both local and international businesses, addressing a range of critical matters, including:
  • Comprehensive employment tax matters such as tax-free employee incentives, benefit-in-kind (BIK), share-based remuneration plans, termination and redundancy payments, PAYE health assessments, and support during Revenue audits.
  • All-encompassing global mobility concerns, encompassing cross-border employment arrangements, business-related travel for individuals, "remote worker" scenarios, ensuring meticulous adherence to tax, social security, payroll, and in-country regulations.
  • Management of expatriate tax return compliance.
  • Addressing immigration obligations and requirements.

Main Responsibilities –
  • Engage in diverse client portfolio management, featuring outstanding avenues for personal portfolio growth and development.
  • Contribute as a member of a dedicated team specializing in employment taxes and global workforce mobility.
  • Attain expertise as a technical authority in employment tax intricacies, including personal tax matters pertaining to international mobile employees.
  • Foster intimate client relationships.
  • Progress in refining their people management acumen.
  • Work in Collaboration with their client, accessing a wide array of expertise within their client’s network for continuous learning and growth.

About you –
  • Holding AITI / CTA qualifications.
  • Possessing a robust academic foundation.
  • Demonstrating managerial experience or a track record in project and deadline management.
  • Exhibiting proficiency in reviewing personal tax returns for internationally mobile employees, including handling associated applications such as SARP forms, A1 and Certs of Coverage applications, among others.
  • Carrying experience within a client-facing capacity within a tax team context.
  • Demonstrating organizational prowess, self-initiative, and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Displaying efficiency in meeting deadlines and motivating others to do the same.
  • Showcasing determination, ambition, and a strong dedication to ongoing personal and professional growth.
  • Possessing extensive experience in navigating Irish tax matters.
