The Role —
They wish to appoint a Manager for their Corporate Tax Team. This role enhances tax proficiency and offers exposure to diverse clients. Responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio of local and global businesses across various sectors like technology, research, manufacturing, and distribution. The department prioritizes staff growth with support from the broader Tax Team.
Main Responsibilities —
- Supporting the management team in cultivating and expanding the firm's client portfolio relationship.
- Guaranteeing timely payment and meeting filing deadlines for a portfolio of corporate tax clients.
- Collaborating with partners and client service teams to provide advice to a portfolio of Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs) on succession planning and retirement planning.
- Playing a pivotal role within a client service team, contributing to diverse assignments such as aiding clients in company acquisitions and sales.
- In the role of manager, tasks involve team training and development, delivering training across peers, and supporting partners and the management group in managing working capital.

About you —
- Hold an AITI qualification along with being a qualified accountant, with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a practice setting.
- Possess experience in corporation tax compliance and managing a client portfolio within a team framework to ensure adherence to payment and return filing deadlines.
- Familiarity with and expertise in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, along with a solid understanding of pertinent commentary, including relevant case law.
- Proficient in reviewing tasks completed by junior staff and contributing to the management of client relationships within a client-facing team environment.
- Fluent in English with exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of work quality.
