Tax Assistant Manager - Private Client | Top 10 Firm | Dublin

The Role —

They are currently in search of a Tax Assistant Manager with a minimum of 2 years of practice experience to join their Private Clients department. This role entails close collaboration with partners and senior management, allowing the chosen candidate to manage a significant client portfolio, which includes a diverse range of Private Clients, some of whom have global affiliations. This position is particularly well-suited for a driven professional who brings a proven track record of providing practical and innovative tax-oriented business solutions. The responsibilities span a combination of advisory and compliance services.
 

Main Responsibilities —
  • Collaborating with the management team to nurture and enhance the firm's relationships with a portfolio of private clients, including coordinating the provision of services from other departments.
  • Ensuring the timely meeting of payment and return filing deadlines for a designated portfolio of private tax clients.
  • Partnering with the Partners and the management team to offer counsel to private clients regarding potential business structures, transfer pricing, profit repatriation, and succession planning opportunities.
  • Assuming a crucial role within an integrated client service team, actively participating in a wide array of assignments, encompassing tax advisory projects and more.
  • Contributing to collective targets for billing, net fee income, cash collection, as well as pursuing personal and firm-wide objectives.
  • Engaging in business development and marketing endeavors at the firm, department, and team levels.

About you —
  • AITI qualification along with being a qualified accountant, possessing a minimum of 2 years of practice experience.
  • Proven experience in working with private clients.
  • Profound familiarity and practical exposure to interpreting Irish Tax legislation, pertinent commentary, and case law.
  • Track record of effectively managing client relationships to fruition.
  • Proficiency in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning proficiencies.
  • Demonstrated capability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills.
