The Role —

They are currently seeking a Tax Director to join their Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services (ET & GMS) Team within the Tax Advisory Services division.

The ET & GMS team provides counsel to both domestic and international enterprises on a range of matters, encompassing:

• Comprehensive aspects of employment taxes, including tax-exempt employee incentives, Benefit-in-Kind (BIK), share-based compensation plans, termination/redundancy payments, PAYE health assessments, and support during Revenue audits.
• A comprehensive array of global mobility concerns, such as inbound and outbound cross-border employment arrangements, assistance for clients with "remote worker" scenarios to ensure compliance with tax, social security, payroll, and other local requirements.
• Review of expatriate tax returns and oversight of compliance engagements.

Collaborating with their Dublin-based team, you will have the chance to:

• Engage with a diverse client portfolio, presenting outstanding prospects to cultivate and oversee your own portfolio.
• Contribute to a dedicated team that specializes in employment taxes and global mobility.
• Showcase your technical prowess in employment taxes through offering assistance to our domestic and international clientele.
• Foster strong client connections and participate in active business development.
• Enhance your skills in people management.

About you —

• You possess AITI/CTA qualification or its equivalent.
• Your academic background demonstrates strength.
• You hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in taxation, specifically in the domains of employment tax and global mobility.
• You have experience in managerial roles or handling projects and meeting deadlines.
• Your background includes reviewing personal tax returns for internationally mobile employees, as well as handling associated applications (e.g., SARP forms, A1 and Certs of Coverage applications, etc.).
• You are skilled in managing PAYE Revenue audits and compliance checks.
