Corporate Tax Senior Manager | Top 10 Firm | Dublin

The Role —

They are seeking to designate a Senior Manager to join their Corporate Tax Team. In close collaboration with partners and senior leadership, and assuming a degree of responsibility for managing a team, this role presents an opportunity to engage with an extensive portfolio of both domestic owner-managed enterprises and globally owned businesses. These businesses span a range of industries such as technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and transport, many of which possess international dimensions.

Main Responsibilities —

  • Ensuring timely compliance with payment and return filing deadlines for a corporate tax client roster.
  • Collaborating with the management team to nurture and advance the firm's relationship with a designated client portfolio, involving coordination of services provided by other departments.

  • Engaging with the Partners and management team to provide counsel to clients regarding suitable business structures, transfer pricing, and profit repatriation.
  • Playing a pivotal role as a core member of an integrated client service team, participating in diverse assignments, including tax advisory projects.
  • Contributing to collective objectives for billing, net fee income, cash collection, as well as individual and firm-wide targets.
  • Participating in peer-wide and team training initiatives.
  • Engaging in business development and marketing activities at the firm, department, and team levels.
  • Overseeing staff development and reviewing procedural matters.

About you —

  • AITI qualification and a certified accountant, with at least 2 years of managerial practice experience.
  • Proficiency in corporation tax compliance, inclusive of engagements with larger corporates, along with involvement in tax consultancy projects.
  • Thorough familiarity and practical application of Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • Eagerness to thrive and advance in an evolving tax landscape.
  • Aptitude to work effectively within deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Remarkable organizational and planning proficiencies.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English, with exceptional communication skills.
  • Operational supervision experience in assignments and adept management of client relationships.
  • Thorough familiarity and practical application of Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law.
