Our client
Our client a successful Recruitment and Technology Group based on Merrion Square in Dublin 2. 
The group comprises temporary recruitment, permanent staffing, and technology divisions.

It is headquartered in Dublin and also operates in the United Kingdom, with ambitions to scale globally via its technology arm. An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an experienced/ motivated sales professional to join their team.

The role will control and oversee sales operations, performance and client / candidate relationship management. The ideal candidate will be a strategist and a leader able to steer sales teams to the most profitable direction whilst also implementing the companies vision, mission and long term
goals.

The goal is to ensure the sales teams are constantly moving towards fulfilling their short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.


Why is this role available –

The CEO has been hands on in the day to day operations of the business. He is now looking to build the technology side of the organisation and needs a solid Operations and Sales Director to ownership of the running of the sales teams.   

What will the day to day look like for me –

Sales –

Motivating and leading the sales team –
Ensuring the sales teams are constantly moving towards fulfilling their short-term and long-term objectives, keeping them motivated and track. Circa 20 people. There is a detailed activity reporting/ KPI system in place to help with this.
Leveraging on existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities in specific areas.

Operations –
Planning –
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by
planning cost-effective operations and market development activities

Communication –
Communicate and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders

Delegation –
Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of team managers providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance

Problem solving –
  • Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure
company survival and growth

About you –
  • You will be an experienced manager with a solid background in sales/ tech or recruitment
  • Be comfortable managing and motivating a team of consultants who are working on a largely remote basis
  • Have a solid understanding of the financials behind how a business operates
  • Be comfortable working in an SME environment
  • Have a very good grasp of technology and be data driven
  • Be familiar with/ have experience in any of the following sectors – recruitment, healthcare, technology
