Key Responsibilities
- The role would suit an ambitious individual willing to work within a team managing the tax obligations of a portfolio of, primarily, companies
- The work is varied and encompasses advising on a wide range of taxation items not just corporation tax. Typical examples of projects would include assisting on taxation due diligence assignments, Revenue audits, succession planning both for passing assets on to the next generation and disposals to third parties
- The role will also include group restructurings, equity employee participation plans and the taxation implications of disposals of properties.
- Approximately 2 years working within a corporate tax, or general tax with significant experience in corporation tax,
- Possess an accounting qualification or wish to obtain the Irish Tax Institute’s Chartered Tax Advisor qualification
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with privately owned businesses in the sectors such as tech, food, software and engineering
- Experience of preparing corporation tax computations for companies, based on trial balances, management accounts, and financial statements, supported also by audit working papers and supporting working papers from client finance teams
- This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing team dedicated to advising and supporting clients across tax compliance and offering on consulting on subjects such as incentive plans and share options schemes
