The Opportunity
Due to the Company's continued growth and ambitious plans for further expansion in Ireland, they have a great opportunity for a Tax Manager (GES) to join their diverse and progressive tax team.
The Company has a growing Global Employer Services business, assisting clients across the the Company's global network on global mobility. They are a fast-growing team, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and progress their career within the Company's promotion guidelines, and the support to pursue the development of specialist expertise.
The ideal candidate will be working in global mobility and will be experienced advising businesses on the payroll and related tax consequences arising from employee global mobility. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, will be skilled at efficiently managing a diverse range of assignments and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have specific responsibility for the following:
- Managing a portfolio of GES Clients.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing a high standard of client service.
- Coordinating and working with other Company member firms on cross-border projects and business development initiatives.
- Working closing with Partners and senior management in the delivery of GES compliance and consulting services.
- Co-ordination Irish payroll advice and international payroll tax advice
- Liaising with clients in a timely efficient manner, advising, researching, and resolving all relevant tax issues and technical matters on advisory assignments.
- Advising on SARP relief and transborder relief
- Advising on taxation of share-based remuneration
- Managing home and host country tax briefings for employees including high net worth individuals; overseeing shadow payroll and tax equalization work.
- Contributing to the development of technical knowledge and training of staff.
- Commercial management of a portfolio of clients.
- Contributing to the operational management of the tax division and taking ownership of specific areas as required
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- ITI and/or ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behavior to build quality, diverse relationships.
- Demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
- Strong technical skills to deliver GES tax advisory services.
- Experience in managing staff.
- Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Strong Microsoft applications skills; Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
