The Role
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate income tax clients including preparation of tax computations and returns and ensuring clients’ returns and tax payments are correct and filed on time
- Working closely with the Tax Manager and Tax Partner on specific tax consultancy assignments
- Work as part of a team and liaise with other departments, including audit, corporate finance, and corporate recovery as required
- Assist with on-going tax training throughout the office
- Responsible for managing ad reviewing work of junior staff
About You
The Skills
To be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills:
- CTA/ACA/ACCA Qualified, with circa 3 years of experience in tax
- Experience working across a variety of tax heads
- Solid understanding of Irish tax legislation and tax compliance obligations for clients
- Ability to mentor junior team members
- A clear communicator
- Motivated to learn and progress your career in
- Comfortable working in a smaller team environment
