Financial Reporting Manager – Outsourcing

A leading advisory firm is seeking to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager to support the continued growth of their outsourcing division. This role is suited to a motivated and commercially minded accountant who enjoys working with internationally focused clients in a dynamic and progressive environment.

This is a high-visibility role offering strong potential for career advancement within a team that values innovation, collaboration, and high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of active clients, delivering high-quality financial reporting solutions and ensuring strong client relationships.

  • Provide technical guidance on complex financial reporting matters, including FRS 102 and IFRS.

  • Support the delivery of firm-wide projects and initiatives alongside senior leadership.

  • Coordinate with international member firms on cross-border assignments and business development efforts.

  • Play a hands-on role in the operational and commercial development of the financial reporting team.

  • Mentor and support junior staff, contributing to a positive and growth-focused team culture.

  • Assist in the ongoing refinement of processes and tools to ensure continued excellence in service delivery.

Candidate Profile:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of three years' post-qualification experience.

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, ideally within a practice environment.

  • Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS.

  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.

  • Commercially aware, with a practical approach to problem-solving and delivery.

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience managing and developing team members in a collaborative environment.

  • A full driving licence is preferred due to occasional client site visits.
