Senior Sales Executive – Construction
About the Role
Our client, a leading, family-run Irish construction materials company, is seeking a
Senior Sales Executive to lead the growth of their innovative
Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) product across
Cork and the surrounding region.
This is a key commercial role for a self-motivated construction professional with strong technical knowledge and proven sales ability. You'll be working with warm leads and a network of certified installers—advising architects, engineers, and builders while managing the full sales cycle.
The role offers real autonomy and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing, area of the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with builders, engineers, and architects in the residential construction sector.
- Present the benefits of ICF as an alternative to traditional methods like timber frame and block work.
- Manage and grow a network of certified installation partners to ensure project quality and coverage across Cork.
- Convert warm leads into successful contracts, negotiating confidently to deliver strong sales results.
- Operate independently across the region while collaborating closely with technical and production teams.
- Represent the company at site visits, trade shows, and industry events to increase brand awareness and visibility.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in the construction industry, perhaps having transitioned from site, trade, or technical roles into a client-facing or commercial role.
- Strong sales track record, with the ability to manage a territory, close deals, and drive revenue.
- Local knowledge of the Cork construction market, with existing industry contacts highly desirable.
- Self-driven, professional, and resilient—comfortable working in dynamic, on-site environments.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills with a technical edge, able to influence and support engineers, architects, and developers.
- Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Cork region.
